When it's pouring down raining, most of us don't really want to go outside. But after being in the house for so long, one can become very bored. Even though it is raining, here are some ways you can still have fun.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Watch movies.
Sit back, relax, and watch some of your favorite movies. Adding popcorn and candy are optional but would definitely add to the fun. It would be like going to the movie theater without having to leave the comfort of your own home.

  2. Step 2

    Video Games.
Nothing passes time quick like playing a good video game. Try to find one that can hold your attention for awhile or at least until the rain has stopped.

  3. Step 3

    Crafts.
If you are good with your hands, this would be a perfect time to start a new project. Whether you have been wanting to make something for awhile or just want to pass some time.

  4. Step 4

    Cook.
Cooking is a great way to pass the time during a storm. Since we all have to eat, this would be a perfect time to get it done. But if it is raining hard I would wait, you don't want the electricity to go off while making your gourmet meal.

  5. Step 5

    Play a board game.
If someone is home, see if they want to play monopoly or something to pass the time. Then hopefully by the time you are done the sun will be out again.

  6. Step 6

    Exercise.
Just because you can't leave the house, doesn't mean you can break a sweat. If you have a treadmill, now would be a perfect time to get into a little better shape. Or any other exercise you like to do.

  7. Step 7

    Read.
While some people enjoy television and board games, sometimes nothing can beat a great book. Especially while its raining. If you have a fire place, light it, then get lost in a great book.
