Things You'll Need:

Step 1
The consumer may get sent fake/expired/incorrectly labeled pain meds. Rogue pharmacies and drug counterfeiting rings have a way of taking drugs that are already out-of-date or those that contain a higher/lower dosages and repackaging them to look like a newly manufactured product. The same goes with fake medications.
-
Step 2
Using fake medications can cause deadly side effects. Drug counterfeiters can use random, unsanitary materials as ingredient fillers without checking if those fillers are toxic when ingested. Knock-off drugs can start up an undesirable drug interaction or serious allergic reaction, both of which can be fatal.
-
Step 3
The consumer’s information may be misused. Trusting random online pharmacies may lead to having the consumer’s identity stolen or their information leaked off to other companies.
-
Step 4
• Trust only web drugstores that are government certified and accredited. Consumers can contact their local pharmacy boards or visit the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) and Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites (VIPPS) official homepages for a list of recommended online drugstores. Those endorsed by the above-mentioned offices have passed certain qualifications required to start dispensing medicines to the public.
-
Step 5
Read the online drugstore company’s privacy statement. To those who feel too lazy to read the privacy policy, it will be just a series of words. But the privacy policy explains the company’s stand on protecting your information as well as how they will be using it. Make sure that the web pharmacy does not misuse, sell, or share your information for profit.
-
Step 6
Never submit information without checking the website. Make sure that the online pharmacy you’re about to order from is government certified and has a clean reputation before you start entering and submitting personal and financial information.
