Instructions

    • 1

Cut your piece of cardboard in half so you have two equal pieces.

    • 2

Trace a shape of an elephant ear on each piece of cardboard. It will look something like a kidney bean.

    • 3

Cut out the ear shape in each piece of cardboard with an Exacto knife.

    • 4

Cover each ear in gray fabric using fabric glue, or a sewing machine if you are comfortable.

    • 5

Cover the baseball hat in the gray fabric. You can use fabric glue to hold it in place.

    • 6

Attach the ears to the baseball hat using hand stitches.

    • 7

Cover the bill of the hat with gray fabric, and extend the fabric out to form a trunk.

    • 8

Stuff the trunk with batting and sew closed.

    • 9

Add googly eyes to the front of the cap or use black paint to create the same effect.

    • 10

Use excess material to create a tail. Stuff it with batting like the trunk.

    • 11

Hand stitch the tail to the back of the sweat pants.
