1
Head to the thrift store. Hunters will donate their old camouflage outfits, and military members will give away old and outgrown uniforms. So you should be able to purchase all the pieces you need to create a solider costume here. You will need to pick up a pair of camouflage pants and shirt. For toddlers and preschoolers, the camouflage sweatpants that are popular will look great with an orange sweatshirt. You also need to buy a camouflage hat and work boots. If there are no camouflage hats, you can buy a plain black hat.

2
Remove any badges left on the camouflage shirt. You will want to remove any form of identification accidentally left from the previous owner.

3
Find a toy gun to carry with the costume. Any gun will work, but ideally the gun should be a basic black gun.
-
4
Put on a black t-shirt Just a basic black t-shirt will work. If there is a logo on it, turn the logo facing the back.
-
5
Put on the solider uniform. Use a pair of thick black socks with the boots.
-
6
Paint your face with camouflage paint. You can buy this at almost any dollar store.
