Things You'll Need:
- Tweezers

Step 1
Remember the basics. Be sure that your brow frames you entire eye. Be mindful of the arch of your brow in relation to your facial features and shape. Consider a brow with a medium arch. This is a classic shape that is flattering on everyone.
-
Step 2
Balance your features. Think about what features you like and dislike about your face. Use your brows to balance these features. For example, if you have strong facial features, you need to have strong brows to create balance. If you have large eyes, keep your eyebrows thicker to keep things in proportion.
-
Step 3
Consider color. If you are drastically changing your hair color, don't forget to change your brow color as well. There are always color rules and when it comes to your brows, there's a set for them too. Use a color that is a shade lighter than your hair color.
-
Step 4
Learn to enhance what you have. Use an eyebrow pencil when you need to lightly fill in your eyebrow. Use powder if your eyebrows need help looking a bit fuller. Use pomade to fill in big gaps or to add volume to sparse eyebrows.
-
Step 5
Consider tweezing. Keep your tweezers in the freezer. This will numb your skin as you pluck the eyebrows. Do not stand too close to your mirror when you tweeze. It will distort your perception of your facial shape and features. Try to tweeze near a window as natural lighting is the best way to see each, individual hair. Buy rounded tweezers as they will not poke the delicate skin around your eye.
