How to Make a Spider Costume
People need costumes all year long, not just at Halloween time. People hold costume parties year round. Unfortunately, they can be very expensive. Most people are intimated by the time it takes to make a costume by hand. Instead of resigning yourself to staying at home, there is an alternative. Choose this uncomplicated costume. There is a simple and easy to make spider costume.
Things You'll Need
- Black Sweat Suit
- 2 Pairs of Black Tights
- Stuffing
- Safety Pins
- Black Thread
- White T-shirt
- Black Hat
- Black Paint
- Black Gloves

Cut the legs off the tights. You should have four legs now if you include your own alongside these two tight legs. .

Fill the legs with stuffing. Stuff each tight until it is the same length of the arms of the sweatshirt. Sew the bottom legs completely closed.

Lay the sweatshirt down. Measure a spot of the two legs to be attached on both sides. They should be equally spaced.

Using the safety pins. Pin the legs on the side of the sweatshirt. Double check to make sure the spacing looks correct.

Use a black thread to connect the end of the legs together. Connect the legs of the lowest leg to the upper leg. You will attach this string to the wrist of the person wearing the costume

Have the person wearing the costume put on a white t-shirt. Take the fishing line and throw some quick stitches to connect the white t-shirt to the black sweatshirt. Now stuff the shirt to fill out the spider body,

Paint your face black. You can make it a creepy or silly face based on the effect you desire.
