How to Acquire the Dwarf Korgan in Baldur's Gate 2
A hardened dwarf mercenary who is not above killing innocents to get the job down, Korgan can be a valuable addition to an evil party in Baldur's Gate 2. Although he is incredibly greedy and may end up costing the party some money, his amazing "Rage" ability and high strength make up for it.

Break out of the dungeon of the evil wizard Irenicus at the beginning of the game and have your party make its way through the city of Athkatla.

Travel to the Slums area of Athkatla.

Find the tavern in the Slums called the Copper Coronet and go inside the building.

Go to the western side of the Copper Coronet and find the dwarf Korgan drinking at one of the tables.

Speak with Korgan and he will tell the party that he is looking for a group of adventurers to assist him in pilfering an ancient and valuable book from a mausoleum in the Graveyard District. Accept his offer and Korgan will join the group as a playable character.

Tips & Warnings
Korgan is a member of the Battlerager class, which gives him access to the "Rage" ability. Use this ability in combat to have Korgan hit more often and deal more damage with each successful attack.
If you drop Korgan from the party, he will go back to the Copper Coronet to drink and can be convinced to join the party again there. However, he will require that you pay him extra money each time you do this.
Korgan is considered an evil character, so if your party's reputation ever raises to 18 or above, Korgan will become disgusted with your good acts and permanently leave the group.
