  2. Step 2

Rinse rims thoroughly. Use a garden hose is rinse away rock and dirt particles. Clean with a cloth.

  3. Step 3

Fill a bucket with dish soap and warm water. The dish soap will help break up deep grease and dirt that has not been removed by the cleaning solution.

  4. Step 4

Wipe the aluminum rim with a soft terry cloth. Terry cloth is abrasive enough to loosen stubborn dirt. It will not scratch the rims.

  5. Step 5

Rinse the rims off one more time to get any dirt particles that may have been missed. Start from the top of the rim and work your way down. This method of rinsing will push all dirt towards the bottom of the rim, rather than just spread it around.

Tips & Warnings
  • Get a clear coat to put on rims if they are not sealed or finished. This will help minimize damage and seal in the luster of the aluminum.
