Enter into prayerful contemplation with music of the saints or from the world's religious traditions and indigenous peoples. Gregorian chant is a form of contemplative prayer as are the chants of Tibetan Buddhist monks. Move your body in a way that should be experienced more often. Listen to Sufi music of the Whirling Dervishes. Allowing your body to respond at the most basic level is a primeval form of meditation. The body is as essential as the spirit and the mind. In dance, your whole being releases energy in celebration. Everyone is moved in different ways by different music. Kenny G's "Forever in Love" is a gentle way to spread your arms and twirl to his easy melody. Lose your ego and find yourself in meditative dance.
