How to Print Greeting Cards
One of the benefits to having your own computer is that you can access a variety of greeting cards online. This helps you save gas by not having to go to the store to buy one. Not to mention that the ones in the store while they are prettier and shiner are also more costly. Most greeting card programs--even the free ones--give you automatic step by step print out programs, although sometimes you run into difficulties.

Choose card stock that is 8.5 by 11 inches. Paper that is smaller usually cuts off borders and some print. With most printers and greeting card programs you may be able to choose different sizes but it is easier to just stick to one size paper. Then you do not have to change the settings on the printer or computer.

Place the card stock in the printer. Usually you can just place it the same way that you place the normal copy paper in the paper tray. However all printers are not all the same therefore you may have to print by trial and error. Do a test run with regular paper so you do not end up wasting the more costly greeting card paper.
