- 2 ounces of cuttle fish bone
- 5 ounces of Areca nut charcoal
- 1 ounce of pounded Areca nuts
- Oil of Cassia
- Meat tenderizer
- Newspaper or heavy plastic bag

Place the fish bone, charcoal, and Areca nuts under the newspaper and begin pounding with a meat tenderizer. These ingredients do not come to you in powder form. You have to create the powder by banging it with your meat tenderizer. This will take a while. Just make sure to pound the ingredients until they are all in powdered form.

Lift the newspaper and begin mixing the powder with your spoons. Not only do you want fine powdered charcoal, you want perfectly mixed charcoal to brush your teeth. When it is adequately mixed, place the powdered charcoal mixture into a small bowl to set beside your bathroom sink.

Run your toothbrush under the faucet. You want to moisten your toothbrush before you dip it in the powdered charcoal, not afterward.

Brush your teeth in circular motions for two minutes. Remember to brush the fronts of your teeth, backs and biting surfaces. Also, be sure to brush up around your gum line. This area is frequently neglected.

Rinse your mouth with clean water. Although powdered charcoal is wonderful for your teeth, it isn't the best for your tummy. Make sure to swish the water around in your mouth several times before spitting. This will get all of the tiny granules out of your teeth.

Tips & Warnings
If you need something to make your charcoal powder smell and taste a bit better, add 3 drops of Cassia oil to the mixture.
Never use a teeth cleaning product that contains calcined alum or acidulated tartar of potass. This could ruin your teeth very quickly.
