Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Things You’ll Need:
- water
- humidity controlled environment
- beds of germinating soil
- seeds of a type of palm tree species
Step1
Choose a species to plant. In doing so, you will want to take into account what species are able to survive in the environment in which you live in.
Step2
Get your hands on the number of seeds you will need. You will want to obtain fresh seeds. If your only way of obtaining seeds is from another country, make sure you get a USDA Import permit.
Step3
When you get your hands on the seeds you need to check for a few things. First experiment with the float test. If you seeds float and not sink they are not good seeds. Second, pinch your seeds to see if they will deteriorate, if so then you do not have good seeds.
Step4
Once you obtain your seeds, soak them for twenty four hours in fresh water.
Step5
Decide where you want to plant your seeds, either in beds or in a bag. Typically planting seeds in germinating soil beds is the best advantage.
Step6
Make sure you plant your seeds in a humidity controlled environment. You will want to make sure there is more heat and constant humidity.
Step7
Water once a day for proper maintenance.
