Buying Travel/Visitor's Health Insurance for our parents when they travel from India to visit us is a challenge. In India, most of the insurance companies like ICICI, Tata AIG, Bajaj have huge restrictions on coverage for Travel Insurance.

Get the exact dates of birth and the no. of days your Parents are travelling.
Step 2

Once this is done, you need to decide on the coverage for your parents. Ofcourse this would depend on the location they would be travelling and no. of days stay . So if you are located in countries where medical costs are high like USA, Canada, Japan then you need to take a higher coverage like more than $200,000.
Step 3

Go to http://usa.insurancemall.in/visitors.aspx and check quotes.

Tips & Warnings

Remember if the stay is longer go for a Comprehensive Coverage. If the stay is short, a fixed coverage would be fine.
