Proper oral care is part of our daily grooming and is the key to good oral health. Taking time to care for your mouth, saves you from having to do expensive procedures, in the long run.

      Fight Plaque: If proper steps are not taken to care for our teeth and gum, plaque can buildup very quickly. Plaque can form on unbrushed teeth within 48 hours if teeth is not brushed. It will then get hard and becomes tartar.(almost like cement)

      Brush  twice dailly

      Brush Twice Daily: Brush with fluoride toothpaste, for two to three minutes, twice daily. Pay special attention to the back teeth, which is mostly used for chewing. Also use a mouthwash to rinse your mouth daily, for at least 45 seconds.

      Flossing daily

      Flossing Is Important: Don't forget to floss, for about two minutes a day. This will get rid of hidden food particles, under the gums, which the toothbrush cannot remove. There are some nice minty flavored floss, that will make it fun. Practice gradually, until it's a part of your daily routine.

      Healthy snacks

      Snack Healthy: Eat healthy snacks, such as, apples,tangerine,melon, and berries. Rinse after each meal.

      Brush Your Tongue: I know that brushing your tongue, takes a little getting used to. After a few tries you will be able to handle it. If food continues to build up on the tongue, it can cause unpleasant odors. Try to brush, way to the back of the tongue. (may cause gagging)

      Visit your Dentist

      Dentist Visits: Visit your dentist every six months, for your regular check up are cleaning. Your dentist will give you updates on the health of your teeth and gum.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use peroxide and baking soda, along with your toothpaste. This helps the flouride to spread to the hard to reach places. It's great for keeping your teeth sparkling white!

  • Use a soft bristled toothbrush.

  • Plaque can lead to serious gum diseases. Be plaque free.

  • Avoid sugary snacks in between meals.
