In this you will learn how to cook spicy indian chicken in a very simple manner

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1. 500 pound chicken
  • 2. cinnamon sticks
  • 3. 3 cloves
  • 4. garlic and ginger paste
  • 5. oil
  • 6. 2 onion
  • 7. bay leaf
  • 8. chilly sauce
  • 9. red chilli
  • 10. salt to taste
  1. Step 1

    1. cut the 2 onions into small pieces and cut the chicken into small pieces as well

  2. Step 2

    2. heat 2 tbsp (table spoon) oil in a pan

  3. Step 3

    3. add cinnamon sticks, cloves and bay leaves and let it pop. you will hear a popping sound when these ingredients are heated

  4. Step 4

    4. add onions and fry the mixture for 2 minutes

  5. Step 5

    5. add 1 tbsp garlic paste and 1 tbsp ginger paste

  6. Step 6

    6. add chilli sauce till the entire mixture is covered in the sauce

  7. Step 7

    7. add 4 tsp (tea spoon) chilly powder and salt to taste (add salt as per your preference)

  8. Step 8

    8. now continue frying the mixture for 2 minutes

  9. Step 9

    9. add the chicken to the mixture and mix well.

  10. Step 10

    10. add water to this mixture according to the kind or gravy you want (if you want thick gravy add less water and if you want thin gravy add more water)

  11. Step 11

    11. cover the pan and allow to simmer for 15 minutes.

  12. Step 12

    12. now the chicken is cooked. if you wish then you can add a slice of butter over the cooked chicken and also spray some cilantro leaves

Tips & Warnings
  • note: after heating the oil in step 2 lower the flame and then add the ingredients of step 3 otherwise they may simply pop out the pan. ideally it is best to keep the flame low from step 3 onwards.
