How to Make Easy Quesedillas

Homemade quesedillas are easy, fun and virtually picky-eater proof. This recipe takes about thirty minutes to execute.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tortillas
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Meat of Choice
  • Onions (Optional)
  • Sour Cream, Salsa, etc.
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 400.

  2. Step 2

    Slice your meat of choice into thin strips (I use chicken.) Brown the meat on all sides. While meat is browning, chop the onion if you choose to use it.

  3. Step 3

    Place one tortilla on a cookie sheet or pizza pan. Layer cheese, onion and meat on tortilla. Top with second tortilla.

  4. Step 4

    Bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes per side, depending on your desired crispness. Slice like a pizza and serve with sour cream and salsa.

Tips & Warnings
  • I love to use Blue Cheese dressing for a dipping sauce.
  • For extra cheesy quesedilla, add second layer on top of meat.
  • One variation is to grill the meat, then add it to the quesedilla.
  • Make sure your meat is cooked thoroughly.
