How to refinish a table with a unique duct tape design!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Duct tape of different colors.
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Marker
  1. Step 1

Get a table of any size and condition. Measure out your design by determining the width of your duct tape and draw out your design onto the top of the table. Diagonals and straight lines are easiest.

  2. Step 2

Begin in the center and lay down the duct tape piece by piece following your design layout. Do not overlap pieces! Using scissors is possible, but a razor blade may be easier.

  3. Step 3

Smooth pieces out and work towards the outside until completed.

  4. Step 4

Your done! Enjoy your new unique table!

  5. Step 5

Here is another design with a green painted table and brown duct tape added onto the top of it!

Tips & Warnings
  • Use a ruler to make clean straight cuts
  • choose a variety of duct tape colors

on 8/5/2008 Thanks! It took me less than an hour to do after measuring out. I definitely recommend this project to refinish an old scratched up coffee table or nightstand! Good luck! If you have any questions, I will be more than happy to help!
