Step 1
Register for a free account with CafePress, located at www.cafepress.com.

Next, create a shop and personalized it how you want it to look. This is unnecessary for the book publishing, but helpful for selling your finished book.

Then, click on the "Create and Manage" link. Go to the link that says "Manage Sections and Products".

Next, find the button under the heading that says "Add a Product". in here you will see all of the products you can create. Scroll down to the bottom and you will see a selection entitled "Books & CD's". This is the one you will want to click on.

Step 5
Add the selection for "Book" and click on the orange button on the right that says "Add These Products". This will take you into the book publishing category, which will walk you through the process of uploading your book and getting it published. Once you have finished all the fine tuning and your book goes to print, you can buy your book and they will print out however many copies you want...ON DEMAND!!! There is no cost to you whatsoever! You can select your mark-up and CafePress does all the rest! Pretty awesome!!!

on 5/28/2009 "Once it's published, you can buy your book" - for how much? The publishing is not free, just included in the price you pay per copy. This is good information but the price to you may preclude markup in order to acheive a saleable product.
