How to control SNAILS & SLUGS using BEER or SALT
Got a snail or slug problem , make a beer trap or use table salt . Does this Spark an idea?

BEER TRAP
Get a small dish , plactic or foil pan ,
Fill it with CHEAP BEER about a inch deep & set it in the gargen , if you have a large garden make up a bunch of them & place them every 4 or 5 feet apart.
Empyty the traps every day & refill with beer.USE CHEEP BEER , they aren't picky.
If you have a party & there are half empty beer cans or bottole in the morning , pore it into a plastic jug & save it. Why used GOOD fresh beer on garden pests.

HOW IT WORKS
The smell lures the snails to the beer trap. The snail then drinks the beer, gets drunk, and drowns. -

SALT ON WALK WAYS & PATIOS
If you see alot of snail tracks on your walk ways , take some table salt & shake it on the walk way. The salt will kill the sails & slugs as they crawl in the salt.Give the walkway a light dusting , Don't use a big pile ,when it rains or you water the salt will get in the ground surrounding the walk way & to much salt in the soil will harm plants

Salt water spray
Mix 7 table spoons of salt to a gallon of water mix till the salt is desolved , Put the mixture in a sprayer & spray directly on to the snail or slugs. The salt will kill them. It doesn't kill the right away , but within a few hours they will be dead

the salt option seems cruel. my mum used to do it but I think she would not these days as it is a slow death.

I would recommend Anchor Steam Beer from San Francisco. It works on a better class of snails.
