How to USE SEA SPONGE TAMPONS

During your menstrual cycle, use your sea sponge tampons as your would regular tampons. Simply moisten them in water, squeeze them out, and insert.

Every 4-6 hours, rinse the sponge out, squeeze out the water, and re-insert. They act like regular tampons!

Interesting. There are so many alternatives available than those that create so much waste! I do have to admit that I still find this a little strange. Poor old sea sponge! Just knowing that it was once a living creature and then to use it in such a manner, freaks me out just a tad! If it works and can be done in a safe manner, I guess I could try to get over it! Ha -

Very interesting, I was wondering how safe they could be if you re-use them. But the website offers several ways of disinfecting them.
