      During your menstrual cycle, use your sea sponge tampons as your would regular tampons. Simply moisten them in water, squeeze them out, and insert.

      Every 4-6 hours, rinse the sponge out, squeeze out the water, and re-insert. They act like regular tampons!

    Interesting. There are so many alternatives available than those that create so much waste! I do have to admit that I still find this a little strange. Poor old sea sponge! Just knowing that it was once a living creature and then to use it in such a manner, freaks me out just a tad! If it works and can be done in a safe manner, I guess I could try to get over it! Ha
