Mini Scrapbook

Hello, interested in testing your scrap booking skills?. Well these steps are so simple, inexpensive, and not time consuming. By starting off with this small project, it will help you bring out your creative side, by just creating for fun. No pressure, remember scrap booking is fun, and your creation, is the best.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Small Size Photo Album or Photo Album Card board book.
  • A pair of scissors
  • Photo glue
  • Stickers that go with theme
  • Your pictures of a certain event, choose holidays or sports events.
  1. Step 1

Choose a Theme and event: Sports events, small get togethers, traveling, etc. Select a 6-10 photos, or how many you can fit into the small photo ablum. Have extra copies of photos, I usually love Walmart's Photo Center. You can scan photos and save them on a disk. A Scrapbookers dream!

  2. Step 2

Go to your nearest Dollar Store, believe me. You will find goodies, that are inexpensive. For instance, a photo ablum, stickers, scrapbook paper or supplies you will need, for a dollar each. Go to your nearest Micheals Craft Store. For any extra stickers, or things that didn't match up with your theme of your photo ablum.

  3. Step 3

Cut pictures to appropiate sizes, or if you want just to capture a person's facial expession, or a particular view in the picture. To start off, cut in square shapes or circles.

  4. Step 4

Then get the scrapbook paper and cut each paper to fit in each page.

  5. Step 5

Have fun and create, grab all the items you'll be using, and arrange photos. 1-2 photos per section. Add scrapbook paper as a background, glue your photo to paper, then any add stickers to compliment photo, like a sticker of a basketball along the edge of a picture of your's child's basketball team.

  6. Step 6

Glue or slide in each scrapbook page into ablum.

Tips & Warnings
  • When using a card board photo ablum, try to use the 12 in by 12 in scrapbook paper, cut to appropiate lengths, use a ruler to help measure. Use glue to secure paper, then place photo and any stickers.
  • This project was written for adult use, children can create projects, but will have to be supervised, to ensure safety handling glue and scissors.
