Step 1
Gas mileage.
This has to be one of the number one things I look for on my list. With gas prices becoming more and more out of control. You want a vehicle that will get you to your destination for a good price. -
Step 2
Brand Name.
Is there a certain brand that you feel would meet all of your needs? If there is more than one, be sure you remember them while shopping for your next vehicle. It will narrow down your choices quite a bit if you already have a brand in mind. -
Step 3
Time.
Be sure you spend enough time researching your next vehicle. They are not as easy to bring back as a shirt is to a clothing store. -
Step 4
Size.
Do you need something large for a whole family? Do you need room to haul around lots of materials? Or could you settle for having a vehicle that is just yours and not need a lot of room? Those are some questions you should ask yourself while searching. Because if you have a family of five and purchased a two seater vehicle, you may be in a very large amount of trouble. -
Step 5
Dependability.
Be sure to ask others that have the same vehicle you are looking at. That way you can find out from someone else if it is reliable and not have to find out first hand. -
Step 6
Color.
While color does not matter too much, you should try to figure out what color you would like. That way if they do not have the vehicle in your color, they can usually order it from another dealership. -
Step 7
Payment Plan.
Not everyone can purchase a vehicle in cash. That's why it is a good idea to check and see if they have a good payment plan that is affordable for you.
