How to Connect a Nintendo Wii To A TV Or An HDTV

• Nintendo Wii
• A TV
• Nintendo Wii Component Cables

1. First, you must figure out If your TV has component video inputs. This is a set of five cables (red, blue and green for video and red and white for audio) and will give you the best picture on an hdtv

2. If your TV does not have the component video cables, you will be using the red white and yellow composite yellows the system came with. A very simple connection.

3. If your TV does have the component video inputs, you will need to buy a set of the Nintendo Wii Component Video cables (linked below for $16 versus the $30 retail price from nintendo). These will enable widescreen view and the best picture quality.

Tips & Warnings

• Be sure and not mix up the two red cables, one is video and one is audio.
