How to Make Natural Deodorant for Sensitive Skin
Most people with sensitive skin have trouble finding over-the-counter deodorants that are effective and do not irritate the skin. Some people also seek deodorants for children who may have sweating or odor issues, but can't handle harsh deodorants made for hardier adults. You can mix your own skin-friendly deodorants at home with a few special ingredients.

- 2 teaspoons zinc-oxide powder
- 1/2 cup witch hazel extract
- 2 tablespoons aloe vera juice
- 30 drops calendula extract
- 10 drops lavender essential oil

Place the zinc-oxide powder and witch hazel extract into a small bowl. Stir it to blend.

Add the aloe vera juice, calendula extract and lavender essential oil. Stir to blend.

Place the mixture into an 8-ounce dark spray bottle to dispense it.

Tips & Warnings
For excessive sweating, follow Steps 1 and 3 and substitute Step 2 with 30 drops of sage essential oil.
Natural deodorants can be used for children and the elderly as well.
Sage oil should not be used by pregnant women or people who have epilepsy. Cypress essential oil is the safe substitute for sage oil.
