How to control & kill FIRE ANTS or any kind of ants

Things You'll Need

• Diatomaceous Earth

Instructions

1. 

   WHAT IS Diatomaceous Earth
   It is a natural product , made of fossilized remains of diatoms, a hard-shelled algae that is mined & crushed into a powder.

   WHERE TO GET IT
   Swimming pool supply store

2. 

   CAREFULLY & QUICKLY
   Sprinkle some Diatomaceous Earth on & around the FIRE ANT NEST , It doesn't kill right away , it clings to the FIRE ANTS & they carry it into the nest & spread it all through the nest. It slowly dry up the ants & kills them.

   Use a coffee can or a cleaned out jar with hole poked in the lid to shake the Diatomaceous Earth on & around the nest , Get a good covering but you don't have to totally cover it. AGAIN do it quickly or you will get bit ! ! !

   BE CAREFUL , a FIRE ANT bite can be painful & if you are over come & bitten a lot they can kill some people.

   If you are afraid to go close to the nest ,you can't do a quick application from a 3 to 4 feet away. Get a hand full of Diatomaceous Earth & as you walk past the nest toss the hand full at the nest , it is best to get a direct hit for best results.

   Then in a 10 to 15 foot circle around the nest use the shaker to apply it all around.

4. IS Diatomaceous Earth SAFE
   It is totally safe , it is non toxic , is not poisonous & will not harm pets or kids.

Tips & Warnings

• also kill most other insects , ticks, fleas, aphids, silverfish, cockroaches, bed bugs, carpet beetles, slugs, snails, tomato hornworm, house flies, fruit flies, red spider mites, and earwigs

• DO NOT stay near the nest for more than a few seconds , a good covering of Diatomaceous Earth can be accomplished in just a few seconds, then move away.
