How to Make Stir-Fried Lettuce

this is another dish that I accidently found out on how to make and it taste good with rice, eggs, and a few other veggies and soy sauce. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • Lettuce (doesn't matter)
  • ginger
  • oil (canola, corn)
  • soy sauce or oyster sauce

Instructions

    • 1

Wash the lettuce and let it dry. If you try cooking it before it gets dry, the oil mixed with it will get the lettuce all soggy and plus, the oil will splatter everywhere.

    • 2

After it's dry, heat up the wok with oil and slice up some ginger.

    • 3

Add lettuce (dry of course) and cook away. Take it out when it's cooked all the way but don't let it cook for too long. A minute is good enough. Mix it with cooked rice and enjoy it with eggs or other protein and vegetables if you wish. Add sauce too.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use any kind of lettuce as long as it's not too old.

  • Use either soy sauce or oyster sauce. Taste better with oyster sauce on lettuce.

  • Add mroe lettuce if you want more of it. Don't have it bunched up together and keep moving. Otherwise, you might accidently overcook it.
