Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
The first thing you need to do is do a little research on what exactly you believe in. For example, think of things like, what do Is my views on music, what are my views on alcohol, what are my views on sins, etc. This will help greatly when choosing a church.
Step2
Next you need to look up various types of churches in your area Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, or other temples and etc. See what their views are and compare to yours. If they don't match your beliefs, that doesn't mean they are bad. Most of the time, you will be happier in a church that has similar beliefs.
Step3
Now you should have narrowed your search down to a few. Time to try em out. Go to the churches and see what they are like. Ask yourself, Am I pleased with the service?, Did I feel welcome?, and most importantly How did the other people treat me? After you have analyzed your trip move on to the next place on your list and try that one. Ask your self the same questions.
Step4
Now you should have a good idea of which place you like best. Keep going there and try to get a little more involved with the church. For example, volunteer for something. This will give you a more personal view of the other members. If all is well then you have a new church and hopefully you will be happy there.
