Banana Pudding, a southern classic
Banana Pudding, a southern classic

This sinfully rich Banana Pudding will make them say "WOW!" Feel free to substitute fat free and sugar free versions for all of the regular products. It's equally as good and will save a number of calories, fat grams and carbs.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 - 8 oz pkg Cream Cheese
  • 1 - 14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 - 3.5 oz pkg French Vanilla Instant Pudding
  • 3 Cups Cold Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 - 12 oz container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 6 bananas, sliced
  • 12 oz pkg Vanilla Wafers
  1. Step 1

In a large bowl, cream the cream cheese until light and fluffy

  2. Step 2

Add the sweetened condensed milk, pudding mixes, cold milk and vanilla to the cream cheese mixture. Beat until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping.

  3. Step 3

Line the bottom of a 3 quart casserole dish with vanilla wafers. Arrange the banana slices evenly over the wafers. Spread with the pudding mixture. Top with half of the remaining whipped topping. Repeat layers once, ending with the whipped topping.

  4. Step 4

Alow the pudding to chill in the refrigerator for at least three hours
