This is for kids who want to customize their bookbags in a cool way. This works well with white and black bookbags, but any color will work!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pins
  • Photos
  • Sharpie
  • Backpack
  • Blank Patches
  • Keychains
  1. Step 1

On the first day of school let all your friends sign their names on your bookbag in Sharpie. That way it won't come off! You can also let them put little marks beside their signature like a heart or smiley face!

  2. Step 2

You can put really cool pins and buttons on too! Look for ones with your favorite band or singer. Do you like the Jonas Brothers? Or Chris Daughtry? They have pins/buttons for everything!

  3. Step 3

You can also buy plain patches and print pictures of you and your friends on them! This is my favorite! Then all you have to do is iron them onto your bag!

  4. Step 4

I have a bunch of keychains on my bag. Not just regular ones either. You can find a lot of really unique ones! I found a mini purse, diary, soccerball, etc! Start your own collection!

  5. Step 5

Paint your bag different colors! Mix the colors up. You can even use spray paint!

  6. Step 6

If you're a "girly-girl" like I am you know that "bling" can make anything look good! Try sequins and other things to spice up your look!

Tips & Warnings
  • I would use different colored sharpies, so it looks more colorful!
  • You can find patches at your local craft shop.
  • If you use washable markers it's pretty obvious it will wash right off when you put it in water.
  • Check with your school before applying keychains. There may be a rule against it.
  • Paint your bag before you do anything else!
