How to make a fresh and easy BBQ chicken salad with lots of variety and flavor.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Chicken Breast, trimmed of any fat
  • Corn, 1 small can
  • Black Beans, 1 can
  • Yellow Onion, 1 small
  • Zucchini
  • Tomato,
  • Olives, 1 can, pitted
  • Iceberg Lettuce
  • Adam's Alderwood Pacific Sea Salt
  • Salt and Pepper
  1. Step 1
    Trimmed Chicken Breast
    Trimmed Chicken Breast

    Begin with 4 chicken breasts, be sure to trim of any excess fat.

  2. Step 2

    Use Extra Virgin Oil Olive to coat the outside of the chicken breasts, now apply a small amount of Salt and Pepper (to taste), then to finish add the Adam's Alderwood Pacific Sea Salt, a small amount will go a long way.

  3. Step 3

    Place chicken breasts on the grill, medium heat and cook for 25 minutes or until chicken is done (this will depend on the heat of your grill).

  4. Step 4

    While the chicken is cooking prepare and slice all the veggies. Make sure you have enough bowls/plates to place all the different veggies on, the idea of this meal is so that individuals can assemble their own salad from the items that choose.
    Shred the lettuce in a large bowl.
    Dice the onion, tomato, & olives.
    Cut the zucchini into small disks about 1/16" of an inch in width.
    Open the corn and beans in pour into separate bowls/plates.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can add cheese! Shred a small amount of any type of cheese you like. Its does add a bit of fat, but as long as guests you a small amount this will not typically be a problem.
  • For dressing, arrange on the table a large variety of low-cal, low-fat dressing, guests then can add the dressing they would like.
  • Make sure you cook the chicken completely before consuming, this can lead to a variety of health hazards.
