Things You'll Need:
- packets of brown tea
- packets of green tea
- 1 gal water
- 2 cups sugar
-
Step 1
Select a pitcher that will roughly hold a gallon of water, a little less for a stronger tea, or a little more for a lighter tea. Fill the pitcher with warm water. Don't boil the water, this isn't necessary for this type of tea.
-
Step 2
Once you have your pitcher filled with warm water, set two packets of a brown tea bag of your choice, I prefer Lipton's brand, and one packet of any brand green tea in the pitcher of water. let these sit for awhile, maybe even up to a half hour depending on the warmth of the water. If you're in a hurry you could boil the tea, but I believe letting it sit makes the flavor richer.
-
Step 3
After the tea bags have done their duty, add in two cups of sugar and stir till it's all dissolved. Pour a glass, add some ice and or lemon slices and enjoy a refreshing refreshment!
