- oven cleaner
- plastic wrap
- Plastic scraper
- BRASS, soft metal scraper
- Old cloths or work towels

Step 1
Hate to mess it up...Always spot clean as you cook and at the end of your gourmet session on the stove top. Remove whatever you can with soap and water and a plastic scraper, day by day.

Great cooking makes a mess that is worthit.When the stove top is dirtier than you want it to be, bring in the big guns by....Place all grates from the burners into the oven, anything that removes easily take off and put in oven.

Never get cleaner on anything that it must stay off of.Note you will ruin components that light your stove if you clean it without checking your manual. Cover anything that should NOT get cleaners on it with an inverted bowl, or plastic wrap.

Never steel, always brass or plastic on youir stove top.Use care and ventilation as you clean the stove top. Use gloves if you feel you should. Use water rinse and oven cleaner is NEVER to be mixed with anything but water, ever.
