How to Make Recycled Crafts: Styrofoam Egg Carton Bulletin Board

Styrofoam egg cartons are no accepted at recycling centers. Recycle them into this easy craft, that even kids can make.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Styrofoam egg cartons
• Tape
• Scissors
• Single Hole Punch
• String or ribbon
• Push pins

1. Cut the bottoms off of 3 Styrofoam egg cartons and save the tops for another recycled craft project.

2. Tape (on the inside) the egg carton bottoms together.

3. 

   Punch two holes at one end as shown in the picture, and tie on your string, yarn, or ribbon for the hanger.

4. Push in your push pins and you have yourself a recycled, useful bulletin board.

Tips & Warnings

• Wash and dry egg cartons before recycling them into crafts.
• Use the same color of egg cartons for a one color bulletin board, or mix different colors.
• Use caution with scissors when younger children are helping.
