Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- CD burner or writer drive
- Burnable CD's
- Music CD's if not already on computer

Step 1
First thing you will need is the music you want to burn saved on your computer. Open up windows media player. Update to new version if needed. To rip a CD or copy the music from a CD to saved file on computer click rip at the top next to library. Click it. Insert the CD into the drive. Let it load. The CD in the drive should have all the different track numbers listed with check boxes next to them. You listen to them by right clicking and pressing the play button or on the older version just double click the track you want to listen to.
Go through and play them all and click the box next to that track to select it. When you have all the songs you want to rip on your computer selected click the rip button. It will show the percentage of how much has ripped. When it has fully ripped it will show the tracks in the music library. Continue doing this and put all the songs you want on the computer. -
Step 2
Click the burn tab at the top of the windows media player. You can either just select the song's you want on the song list and drag the song to the side on the burn list or checkmark it. There are different versions of windows media player. or you can make a play list by choosing songs and adding to play list (Dragging to the left side play list name) until you have all the songs you want on it. It should tell you the total number of time of the songs on the list.
On top of the CD your burning it should say the maximum time capacity so fill as many as possible onto the disk if you want to. -
Step 3
CD burningOnce all songs you want are selected click the burn button and then it will tell you the percentage complete and estimated time limit. Once it's done it will open it's self or open when complete and you have yourself a burned CD.
