Things You'll Need:
- Creams and moisturizers
- Sunscreen
- Makeup remover
- Vitamins
-
Step 1
Take your vitamins. Antioxidants in particular will keep the skin young and supple, preventing overdrying and helping your skin get rid of toxins. Vitamins A, C and E are especially important, as are selenium and vitamin K.
-
Step 2
Protect your skin from the sun. Tanning, both indoors and out, is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Even if you’re not tanning, though, you should still protect your skin by wearing sunscreen, especially in summer.
-
Step 3
Keep yourself hydrated. Drinks lots of water and decaffeinated beverages. Caffeine dehydrates, so if you drink a lot of coffee, make sure you up your consumption of water to replace whatever the caffeine is taking from your body.
-
Step 4
Reduce stress. It causes the skin to wrinkle prematurely because it increases the levels of cortisol, the hormone that causes aging. Exercise, meditation and even spending time with loved ones can all help reduce stress and stop wrinkles.
-
Step 5
Stop smoking. People who smoke are not only more prone to wrinkles around the mouth, but also to aging sooner because of the toxins present in cigarettes.
-
Step 6
Start using moisturizer as part of your daily beauty routine. As soon as you notice deep wrinkles starting to form, invest on a good quality night cream to make sure you stop (or at least delay) the process as much as possible. Creams containing Vitamin E, alpha hydroxyl acids (AHAs) and Retinol or vitamin A.
-
Step 7
Get lots of sleep. Your skin regenerates at a much higher rate during REM (deep) sleep. Lack of sleep also makes you more prone to drinking more coffee and suffering more stress.

on 9/2/2008 I would recommend a serum with DMAE because that naturally increases your skins ability to heal its self. The link for the one I recommend is here:

Skin researchers have shown that DMAE has a firming effect on facial and neck tissue and helps diminish fine lines around the eyes and mouth. DMAE also boosts other antioxidants, resulting in increased brightness, smoothness, and wrinkle reduction. Niacinamide is the biologically active form of niacin, Vitamin B3. Studies have shown it to be useful in increasing synthesis of collagen and lipids, inhibiting the transfer of melanosomes and decreasing inflammation. Retinol Palmitate (Vitamin A) nourishes the skin and assists removing dead skin and provide an added antioxidant.
