People who love shopping look forward to Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. There are so many sales to be had that day. It is the biggest shopping day of the year. Preparing for Black Friday so that you have a productive day is fairly easy. The more prepared and rested you are, the better your day will go.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Save money as far in advance as possible. You do not want to wait until the last minute to try and get money together. If you can, start saving for Black Friday in August or September. If you have the funds available, you can finish holiday shopping on this day.

  2. Step 2

Start looking through ads a week ahead of time. Some stores might offer incentives like gift cards for the first thousand people. Everyone loves free money! There might be specials that are only available at certain times. Most of the ads should list their store hours so you know when they are open.

  3. Step 3

Ask family and friends to make a list of what they want for Christmas. They should do this a couple of weeks before Black Friday. Based on the lists and the ads, you can plan your shopping day.

  4. Step 4

Rest as much as possible the night before. Many places open at 5 am, and you want to be there early, as you might have to wait in line. If you are well rested, you will have more energy to go about your day. Your decision-making will be more on target.
