How to Join a Photo Group on Flickr

Flickr is a website for online photo management and sharing. Flickr also offers the ability to join a group to participate in sharing photos, videos and group discussions. In this article, you will learn how to join a photo group on Flickr.

Instructions

1. Go to the Flickr groups website listed in the Additional Resources section.

2. Sign up for a Flickr account if you are not a member already.

3. Search for a group you are interested in. Insert keyword terms in the search box. All groups with those search terms will be displayed.

4. Click on the group that interests you from these search results.

5. Join the group by clicking on the menu item listed in blue titled "Join This Group" at the top of the page. You will be asked to agree to the rules of the group.

6. Click "OK, Join" in the blue box.

Tips & Warnings

• Groups can be public or private.

• Since Flickr is a Yahoo! company, you will need to have a Yahoo ID to join a Flickr group.

• Make sure to closely read the terms and conditions of the group before you join.
