How to make Easy Fettucine Alfredo

The Grown up version of Mac & Cheese! My kids loved this growing up. But who wouldn't love this with all that cream & cheese!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • 2 Tbl EVOO (olive oil)
  • 1 pint cream
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • Fresh ground pepper
  • Fresh ground nutmeg
  • 1 C parmesan cheese
  • ½ package of fettuccine noodles
  1. Step 1

    In saucepot soften 2 cloves chopped garlic in 2 Tbl olive oil. Add 1pint cream and simmer softly to reduce and thicken, approximately 8 minutes Do not allow to boil.

  2. Step 2

    Add salt, pepper, & a little freshly ground nutmeg to taste then remove from heat. Add 1 cup grated parmesan cheese and stir to melt and blend. Keep warm over very low heat.

  3. Step 3

    Get pasta pot ready with boiling salted water; add fettuccine noodles to cook al dente approximately 7-8 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Combine sauce with pasta and toss. Serve with extra cheese.

Tips & Warnings
  • I sometimes top with smoked salmon, peas, and chopped green onions.
