You don't have to live with a bad spray tan. Here's how to remove your spray tan painlessly, naturally, cheaply.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    TUB SOAK

Soaking in a tub of warm water and baby oil can really help loosen the tan. If you prefer, you can also use a moisturizing bubble bath like Calgon. Add a little baking soda to help loosen the tan.

  2. Step 2

    SCRUB

Baby oil often works to remove fake spray on tans. Try applying to your skin, and allow it to set for several minutes. Then, take a washcloth with a little baby oil on it and start scrubbing. If this method is not effective, try mixing some baby oil with baking soda to make a paste. Apply the paste directly to your skin and scrub.

  3. Step 3

    LEMON JUICE

If baby oil fails to remove your tan, try scrubbing the stubborn areas with lemon juice.

  4. Step 4

    STAINED NAILS

Acetone (nail polish remover) can be used to remove tanning stains from under and on top of finger nails.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't laugh at baking soda. It's nature's miracle.
  • DO NOT APPLY ACETONE TO YOUR BODY OR ADD TO A TUB SOAK. SERIOUS INJURY COULD OCCUR.
  • USE CAUTION WHEN WORKING WITH ACETONE!

on 8/4/2008 This reminds me of the episode of Friends when Monica, I think, got a fake tan at a booth and it made her too dark. Great tips.
