DISTRACTION
Though there are those who will claim that make-up applied to the nose is the answer, this is really just a bad fashion idea. The trick to hiding an embarrassing facial feature, without the expense of plastic surgery, is DISTRACTION.

NOSE MAKE UP RULES
There is no magic foundation that will make your nose look smaller. However, using powder can prevent shine from drawing attention to your nose. Use the same foundation you have used on the rest of your face, but make sure to use powder to keep your nose from shining.
Don't waste time and money on liners that promise you can redraw the shape of your nose. Outside of plastic surgery, the only effective way of making your nose appear smaller is to prevent showcasing it. Lined noses ALWAYS look bizarre.

LIPSTICK
Lipstick is the best tool for drawing attention to your nose. Bold lipstick can even make your nose appear smaller by comparison to your lips. Lipstick, rather than lip gloss, pulls the eyes to the gentle contours of your mouth, away from your nose.

EYE MAKE UP
Eye make up is a good tool if your lips aren't where you want the attention to go. Accentuate your eyes with liners, mascara and shadow.
DO NOT make the mistake of using bold lipstick AND bold eye make-up. This will give a clowning appearance. Only accentuate one facial feature at a time.

WEAR YOUR HAIR UP
Wearing your hair up, at least partially, will provide more facial area, making your nose appear smaller in the scheme of your face. When hair covers your face, even partially, it highlights the center of your face: your nose.
Changing the frame of your nose by exposing more of your face can have shockingly positive results. You may wonder why you ever considered plastic surgery.

This really makes sense when you think about it. We wear clothes a certain way to draw attention away from parts of our body, so this would work too. Great tips. -

That is a good idea to highlight one of your other features to distract from your nose.
