Things You'll Need:
- An Open Mind
- The Desire to Change
- Determination
- A Selfless Attitude
-
Step 1
Test Yourself:
Before you can begin to bring yourself into balance you must first obtain an accurate assessment of your life in the five categories of financial, intellectual, spiritual, health, and relationships. A great tool to help you assess your life balance can be found at www.ThePrysm.com. -
Step 2
Identify your strongest and weakest categories:
Many of us spend all of our energy making money (financial) while lacking our family (relationships). Other people spend so much time in school (intellect) that we don't exercise (health). -
Step 3
Set Goals to improve your weaknesses:
Now that you know which categories of your life need improvement you need to create a plan to do just that. The best way to do this is to set goals in these areas. Take a look at the goal setting tools found at ThePrysm.com that will allow you to track specific goals by category. This daily, weekly, and monthly tracking will help to hold you accountable to your goals. -
Step 4
Re-Assess Monthly:
As you track your goals you should frequently assess and re-assess your progress. Adjust your plans accordingly. Over time you should notice your weaker categories becoming less apparent. -
Step 5
Keep a Balanced Focus:
Begin to look at your life in these five different categories: Financial, Intellectual, Spiritual, Health, Relationships. As time goes on, you will see your whole life through ThePrysm and your categories will work together to help you achieve and maintain balance.
