    Always take advantage of lower gas prices. If you see a good price on gas, fill your gas tank before it is empty.

  2. Step 2

    When possible, drive below the speed limit. Driving slower can yield as many as five more miles to the gallon.

  3. Step 3

    Be gentle on your brakes. Doing so will save gas and wear and tear on your vehicle.
