How to Speed Up Blogging With ScribeFire

ScribeFire is a free Firefox add-on. It's easy to download and install in Firefox. Use it to quickly add a post to your blog from any web page you are currently viewing. Here is how to do it.

Things You'll Need:

  • A Firefox browser
  1. Step 1

    Use the Firefox browser to go to the ScibeFire download site (see link in Resources below). Click the Install ScribeFire Now button.

  2. Step 2

    Restart Firefox.

    There are several ways to activate ScribeFire when you are ready to start blogging. The simplest way to open ScribeFire is probably to click the icon in the status bar at the bottom of the browser window. ScribeFire opens in the bottom of the browser window.

  4. Step 4

    Add new blog accounts to ScribeFire using the wizard that appears when you first open Scribe. If you have more than one blog, click the Add button to configure each one.

  5. Step 5
    Write your blog post

    In the ScribeFire window at the bottom of a Firefox browser page, select the blog you want to post to. You can enter a title, a post, choose the categories for your post, add Technorati tags and pingback choices. In short, do anything you would normally do while signed into your own blog.

  6. Step 6

    Finally, click publish, or save as a draft or note.
