How to Find Out If Your State Owes You Money Or Property

The state you live in may be in possession of your unclaimed property or money. Find out if you could be collecting from the government. It's free & easy; how great is that?

Instructions

1. Check with the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators. They have a nation wide listing of state controllers offices.

2. Once you find your state controller's web page look for a link that will lead you to an unclaimed property search.

3. Fill out your information. Usually all you need to enter is your first name, middle initial, last name & city. These are government pages so security should be pretty tight, I wouldn't worry to much about giving up a little info.

4. click search and get your results.
