With gas prices as high as they are right now, everyone is looking for a cheap way to travel. Here is a good way to book cheap flights.

1. Try searching the internet using places like expedia. They usually offer flights a little bit lower than the actual airline company.

2. Check around the internet for promotional codes or coupons. Some of these can save you a percentage on your flight.

3. Don't always opt for first class. While first class is great, it can also be very costy. Try doing coach and occasionally if first class isn't full when you get there, they will upgrade you for free.

4. Also try using companies that offer travel miles. So after you have flown with them a few times, you can build up your points and eventually get a free flight.

5. Don't wait to the last minute to book your flight. The closer it gets to the actual date the more expensive it gets. There are a couple of flights they may get cheaper but it is usually one way and very limited.

6. Before you book your flight make sure you have checked with multiple sites to be positive you are getting the best deal.
