Things You'll Need:
- Fresh ginger root
- Honey
- Stove
- Tea Kettle
- Water
- Fresh lime juice
- Fresh lemon juice
- Strainer

Step 1
Boil a kettle of water.

Step 2
Peel a section of fresh ginger root about 1 inch long. Then slice into very thin slices.

Step 3
Place sliced ginger root in a tea cup. Add 1 teaspoon of honey or to taste.

Step 4
Pour hot water into tea cup. Cover tea cup and let steep for 10 minutes.

Step 5
Add fresh squeezed lime juice (or lemon juice). Lime and ginger go very well together.

Step 6
Strain out the sliced ginger root. Sip and enjoy!

on 8/19/2008 Great recipe. Believe it or not, the same tea (except very heavy on the ginger and the honey) with cayenne pepper added (really!) is a great remedy for sore throats. It sounds all wrong. But it works.
