Instructions

  1. A Ring

    • 1

Take the bill and lay it flat with Jefferson's face looking in your direction.

    • 2

Fold the white top edge down and the white bottom edge up. These folds will be very short and that is okay.

    • 3

Fold the bill in half lengthwise so that the two edges you just folded touch each other and then do it again. So you would have folded it in half twice. Make sure that you can still see one of the number 2's. Have that number 2 be on your left.

    • 4

Take the right end of the $2 bill and fold it upward. It will be diagonal at the bottom, but should stick straight up. There is not set length as to where to fold it because you can make a ring of any size. Then take the part that is sticking up and fold it back behind the $2 bill.

    • 5

Flip the $2 bill over and take the longest piece and wrap it around, having it go under the piece that is already there.

    • 6

Find the little piece that is sticking out and fold it over the other fold on the outside. Make sure your number 2 is on the outside where you can see it.

    • 7

Take the last piece that is sticking out and fold it under the number 2. The number 2 becomes your diamond, so to speak. Give it to a friend.

    $2 Bill Trick

    • 8

Place the $2 bill in front of you with President Jefferson's face looking at you.

    • 9

Fold the $2 bill in half width wise once and then do it again width wise. Then fold it down lengthwise.

    • 10

Fold the $20 bill exactly the same way, but start with the back of the $20 bill facing you instead of the president.

    • 11

Roll up a small piece of tape and attach it to the one side of the folded up $20 bill.

    • 12

Attach the folded up $2 bill to the other side of the tape and make sure both squares are lined up correctly.

    • 13

Unfold the $2 bill and show it to your audience. The $20 bill will be taped to the back so when you flip the bill over to show everyone make sure you fingers are covering that section.

    • 14

Flip the bill back over to the front and fold it up in front of your audiences eyes. Carefully flip the bill over so that you can unwrap the $20 bill.

    • 15

Show your audience the $20 bill's front side and again be careful when you flip the bill over so that your fingers are covering up the little section where your $2 bill is hiding.

    • 16

Repeat as many times as your audience wants.
