How to Create Your Own Creature

While it is rather impractical to attempt to create a new creature in real life, there are plenty of options available online. This guide details the steps involved in using a program called the Spore Creature Creator, developed by Electronic Arts (EA) games. Though this program, you will be able to create and customize a unique, virtual creature.

Things You'll Need

• Computer
• Internet connection
• Spore Creature Creator software

Instructions

Obtaining the Spore Creature Creator

1. Go online and download the Spore Creature Creator (see Resources below).

2. Under "Get Spore" click the "Spore Creature Creator."

3. On the following screen, under "Spore Creature Creator," click "Get It!"

4. Choose the appropriate program version (PC or Mac) to download according to the type of computer will use to create your creature.

5. Wait for the download to complete and install the program.

Creating Your Creature

1. Once installed, open the program.

2. If desired, create a username that will be used to save your creation. If a username is not created, bypass the screen.

3. On the next screen, begin creating your creature and customizing it with body parts and anatomical features. Save your creature, if desired, when finished.

• Download the trial version of the Creature Creator before downloading the full version so you can try it out first.

• Be sure to have permission to go online, access websites and download content before downloading or installing the Creature Creator.
