Ladies, we have to clean, exercise, do dishes... so what happens when we do? We break our nails? I can show you an easy fool-proof method to fix them until they grow out!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • soft nail file
  • a tea bag
  • nail glue
  • a nail strengthener
  • scissors
  1. Step 1

Before you begin, make sure the nail is clear of polish and cleaned. It should also be shortened so it'll have less pressure on it.

  2. Step 2

You want to be gentle! Use a file to lightly file over the break to remove some of the shine. It will help with adhesion.

  3. Step 3

Pre-cut a small piece of the tea bag. It will be used as your nail "bandaid. Make sure it completely covers the break and stretches across the entire nail. That is your nail's "stress point" which is the vulnerable part of your nail.

  4. Step 4

Apply enough glue to cover the area and place the tea bag strip on your nail bed.

  5. Step 5

Be patient and allow the glue to dry between applications.
Repeat twice and make sure it's smooth.

  6. Step 6

If you want it to dry quicker, try placing your finger in the freezer. It'll speed up the drying time ;)

Allow it to dry entirely and you'll have a repaired nail!

Tips & Warnings
  • Allow the glue to thoroughly dry before reapplying.
  • Be gentle when filing!
  • Be patient, the nail will grow out in no time
  • Keep nail glue handy if you need to reapply.
  • It may burn slightly if it's a deep break blow on it, don't shake it because the glue may run!
