How to Make a Wedding Bouquet out of Lollipops
Why not be creative on your wedding day and carry a special bouquet made out of lollipops? Lollipops come in a variety of shapes, colors and sizes, and can easily take the place of flowers. By using your imagination and a little ingenuity, you too can make an exquisite, elegant wedding bouquet from candy.

Determine what colors you want your wedding bouquet to be. Lollipops come in all colors. If there is a color you wish to add to your lollipop bouquet that you can't find, any candy store should be able to create one for you. In fact, locate a local candy shop in your area who can create different shapes and colors, so that when the time comes to prepare your creation, you're better ensured that your lollipop wedding bouquet is the best.

Purchase a styrofoam ball about 6 inches in diameter. The ball serves as your wedding bouquet base. The lollipop sticks will easily insert into the styrofoam. Also purchase a thin but sturdy wood, or plastic, stick, about 8 inches long. Insert the stick into the bottom of the styrofoam ball. This is the object you will hold to carry your lollipop bouquet.

Buy some beautiful silk or satin ribbon in the color of your choice. Part of the ribbon will be used to cover the stick. Start at one end of the stick, and wrap the ribbon around the stick, all the way to the opposite end. The remainder of the ribbon will tie around the top of the stick near the ball. The ribbon can be any thickness and texture you desire. It is your lollipop wedding bouquet, so make it elegant.

Gather together an assortment of lollipops. Lollipops come in heart shapes, butterflies and flowers. You decide the theme of your lollipop wedding bouquet and purchase at least 100 lollipops. The fuller you want your lollipop bouquet to be, the more lollipops you will need. After your wedding bouquet creation, if you still desire more lollipops, the nice thing is, they are cheap and easy to insert.

Insert your lollipops into the styrofoam ball. Cover the entire ball. You decide where each lollipop should go, based on color and size. Be creative and use your imagination. Your wedding is a special day. Make your lollipop wedding bouquet special too.

Tips & Warnings
After the lollipops are inserted into the styrofoam ball, if you decide you aren't happy with your creation, the nice thing is, you can remove the lollipops and insert them elsewhere. Nothing is set in stone. No glue or other adhesive holds the sticks in place, so they can be removed and rearranged at anytime.
Lollipops that are big and heavy might fall out of your lollipop wedding bouquet. When choosing the right lollipops for your bouquet, make sure they are lightweight. Lollipops that have longer sticks, stay inserted.
